With the Laser-Distance-Sensors DLS-B of the Swiss company Dimetix AG, you measure absolute distances up to 500 meters. Thanks to state-of-the-art laser technology, the DLS-B device measures with an unchallenged precision of 1.5 millimeters. This maximum error indication is definitive and includes, amongst other things, errors of the operating temperature and errors of linearity. Furthermore, the results of measurement are within the specified accuracy, regardless of the measuring distance and the grade of reflection of the measuring target.

Consequently, the DLS-B provides you with an absolute, maximum error of +/- 1.5 mm, even if the targets you measure are black, white or reflecting. The repeatability is better than 0.5 mm.

Due to its brilliant measuring capacities, the field of our Distance Sensors is multilateral. The DLS-B measures the position of moving objects to be found in high rack storage areas, crane applications, container handling systems or suspended conveyors. Furthermore, it monitors coil diameters, stacking heights or silo levels, accomplishes assembly controls or measures the geometry of objects and rooms in 2-D or 3-D – to name just a few possible applications.
