Photovoltaic cells are getting thinner and thinner and more precise processing is demanded on those cells. From cutting, to inspection, formation of curcuits and modules, utmost care has to be taken to improve yield rate.
Here appears a handling issue of fragile photovoltaic cells.
Why not solve it by stainless steel handling belts?
Flat and smooth belt surface itself provides the best bed to cells.
When very precise cell positioning is required, perforation belts help a lot. We make holes with a specified pitch along the belt and these holes fall in sprocket pulley pins, which provides more precise transmission. Under the room temperature stainless steel does not elongate. Also it is conductive and can be static-electricity free.
When cells have to be fixed during processing, suction is one of solutions. We make tiny holes all over the belt surface. Suction unit under the belt suctions cells through these tiny holes.
If you convey cells in particular cases, those cases can be attached on the belt, too. We provide pulleys that fit this type of transmission.
In inspection brilliance of stainless steel can be a problem. Then we coat belt surface and make it dark colors.
There are variety of coating materials and each of them has unique properties. Coated belts offer unique function to many kinds of processings.
Here are belt size;
Belt thickness: 0.15 to 0.5mm.
Belt width: 5 to 500mm.
Belt length (circumference): 500mm or more.
