Eilersen releases new shockproof digital load batteries and digital weight modules at the Hannover Fair/INTERKAMA 2008 in Hall 8, booth D21.

Like the existing range of Eilersen shockproof load cells, the new load cells are based on the patented capacitive measurement principle which tolerates shocks, torsion and very high overloads and sideloads (up to 1.000% of Rated Capacity). These characteristics eliminate the need for mechanical overload protection.

The range of new load cells feature improved specifications and are designed for industrial weighing applications to measure from a few milligrams and up to 500 tons. The load cells are produced in stainless steel, hermetically sealed and available in ATEX versions.

Also at the Hannover Fair, a completely new range of digital weighing modules with connectors specifications for up to 4 digital load cells is released in both standard and ATEX versions. The modules feature integrated diagnostics and configurable digital industrial filters. The weighing modules are available with RS485, Profibus DP, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, 4-20 mA or 0-10 Vdc outputs.

The digital measurement chain offers plug-and-play installation while eliminating drift and in-accuracies found in analog circuits.
