Available in the professional counter or visualiser version, the new CM78N by the Italian company ELAP offers a wide array of different functions.
In its small size (mm 96x48x105-dept.) the new CM78N C01 includes a 2-setpoint counter, a partial/total counter and a cycle counter with settable cycle, while the visualiser version C02 can be employed as position display, 2-setpoint visualiser or as absolute/relative visualiser with two setpoints.
A list of freely settable parameters (inputs/outputs type, operating cycle, counting direction, decimal point position, multipying factor) allows to tailor CM78N to several applications on industrial operating machines.
Functions are software selected via the front keys, lodged beneath the high-visibility 6-digit display.
CM78N avails on a mono/bidirectional digital input, on an professional encoder input accepting NPN or push-pull signals and on 2 relay outputs. It is powered by direct voltages (12 or 24 Vdc) or alternate voltage (115 or 230 or 24 Vac). Data are stored on EEPROM.
CM78N resistance to vibrations and electromagnetic noise is pecularly high, exceeding the requirements of European Standards for industrial equipments.
