ElectroCraft today announced the release of its new line of CompletePower™ Plus Digital Servo Drives. The CompletePower Plus line of servo drives will power the entire range of brushless motors available from ElectroCraft; continuing the company’s vision to deliver complete motion solutions to customers worldwide.

The ElectroCraft CompletePowerTM Plus Servo Drives utilize the latest in DSP-based digital drive design architecture to provide software selectable torque, velocity, and position mode operation. Sine wave commutation using encoder feedback provides smooth torque at low speed for demanding motion control requirements found in robotic, direct drive, and linear motor applications. Sine wave commutation is also available on motors operating with only hall commutation feedback, providing smooth performance over the entire speed and torque range.

The drive family unveiled today includes:
•ACS-Series: Brushless Servo Drives, 24-48 VDC, from 7-20 A peak and 3.5-10.5A continuous;
•ACE500: Brushless Servo Drives, 90-254 VAC 1ϕ, with 11 A peak and 5 A continuous;
•ACE1000-Series: Brushless Servo Drives, 90-254 VAC 1ϕ or 3 ϕ, from 14-21 A peak and 8-12A continuous;
