The new SIDSP® technology based MiniTest 700 series of ElektroPhysik offers an utmost accuracy and reproducibility. With SIDSP® - sensor integrated digital signal processing – the entire measuring signals are digitally created processed and controlled in the measuring sensor itself. Unlike with the commonly used procedures, the measurements are free from interference and there is no data loss via the sensor cable.

The three models of the 700 series offer a flexible solution to all measuring requirements for coating thickness measurements on steel or on non-ferrous substrates.

While the 720 model comes with a built-in sensor and the 730 with an external sensor, the MiniTest 740 offers both options in one model: This gauge can be used with various exchangeable built-in or external sensors. Just use the adapter cable and you can change the built-in sensor into an external one!

The sensors are highly resistant with an optimum temperature compensation to cover a wide range of applications – with an excellent stability of readings, e.g. a reproducibility of ± (0.5 microns + 0,5 % of reading) and a tolerance of ± (1 micron + 0,75 % of readings).

The user menu of the new gauges offers up to 25 languages, a maximum of 100,000 data can be stored with the convenient data management and statistics program.
