Powerful and efficient at the same time: The serious challenge today’s products have to face. Not only economy and politics, even media and thus a wide social stratum discuss this subject because of CO2 savings and temperature increase. The newly presented EMC module by ELMA is both powerful and efficient. Apart from that, thanks to its slimness it is a high-score product within the LEAN sense of economic processes.
“Slimkit 10” is ELMA’s new 19” EMC module. Its main feature is its slim construction of 1U only. But not only its construction is slim, Slimkit 10 also increases the efficiency within the sense of “Lean Management”, if it is a question of safely packing one’s own electronics in accordance with standards, quickly and without much engineering efforts. Thus, it offers solutions customers really need: at high-level quality and optimized costs.
The new 19’’ EMC module has been developed in close cooperation with customers. Consequent orientation towards customers’ requirements and “unsatisfied” desires showed that more and more importance is given to good HF shielding and thus high EMC (electromagnetic compatibility). An almost diametrical requirement is a maximum reduction of assembly efforts; since EMC usually means to close housings without any gaps by screwing them closely in order to avoid the gap effect. This technical exercise could be realized by using innovative design elements produced by means of ELMA-specific tools. The result: only few screws are necessary to mount Slimkit 10 quickly, reliably and safely (according to EMC).
