2008 has seen the introduction of the elobau "145MA" micro pushbutton based on Hall technology and with a linear analog output. It is designed for applications for which a simple On/Off switching function is not sufficient and that require a linear output signal. This makes the 145MA ideal for controlling moving devices on machines and systems, or hydraulic valves in industrial vehicles.
The very robust switching element meets the requirements of the international protection class IP67, which makes it suitable even for rough industrial environments. elobau guarantees a long service life in excess of two million switching operations. The button caps are available in various colours, and can be printed with customer-specific symbols.
A few more technical details: The micro pushbutton 145MA is 15.1 mm in diameter and 27 mm long from its head to the end of the size M12 thread. The key stroke is 4.0 mm. It can be used in ambient temperatures of between -20 °C and +75 °C. The operating voltage is 5 V, and the maximum operating current is 15 mA. In the standard version, a voltage of 0.5 V to 4.5 V is available at the output.
