The NEK series was developed to meet increasing demands for low energy consumption and to reduce the acoustic impact on commercial refrigeration equipment. The new NEK series is able to replace the NB/NE series in all applications.
There is no change in external configuration.
Note that the displacement range has increased to 16,8 cc. The extended NEK offers a more competitive
alternative, compared to the larger platforms with equivalent displacement.

The Improvements mentioned above were obtained through significant redesign of main manufacturers of compressor components as cock system, suction muffler and compressor shell.
New motors used on NEK family are designed to assure reliable starting performance and allow use in high ambient temperature applications.
The NEK series is available in LBP , MBP and HBP application ranges using HFC and HC refrigerants (**) in 220-240V /50Hz and 115V /60Hz voltage versions. Other voltage versions are available under request.
