The twin-head cutting-off machine Twin Ferro is designed for cutting iron and stainless steel sections. Thanks to the use of brushless motors, the machine is able to position both cutting heads at the angular settings of 45°, 90°, 135° and at all intermediate angles about the horizontal plane, with an accuracy of 1/240° (i.e. 240 positions are available for each degree).

Traversing of the movable cutting head is automatic and controlled electronically by the control system. This ensures great accuracy and rigidity of the machine. Worthy of mention of the Twin Ferro characteristics is the blade motor power which is 2.7 kW for cutting iron, while in the stainless steel version the motors change and their power rating is 3.9 kW.
The lubrication system is of minimum quantity type with oil (Lubrica), while in the stainless steel version it is oil and water emulsion.

The first models of Twin Ferro are already available. They are on show at the factory in Limidi.
