With finishing the relocation to the new company building in Lüneburg on the 1st October, 2009, a new era in the development and production of laser systems has begun for the eurolaser GmbH. Over 5000m² of production, storage and office areas are now available for the eurolaser GmbH for the continued development and production advanced technologies in the “World of Laser Processing” close to the customers.

“We think ahead, taking into account the technology know-how that we have gained in the past 15 years”, so the management of the company. The company has grown to over 70 employees by now, provides about 12 apprenticeships and is going to orientate itself even closer by the special markets of industry and handcraft. A sovereign and transparent consulting centre responds the challenge by international production companies in this quarter – in the duty of new material processing concepts using the laser technology.

After the foundation of the company in Hamburg-Harburg in 1994 the company moved to Seevetal-Meckelfeld in 1999. The expansion and extension of the business that was decided in 2008 could not be realised in these premises, though. After intensive search in the south of the economic metropolis Hamburg a property in an industrial zone in Lüneburg with direct connection the Autobahn could be purchased. Due to the company expansion the capacities for the production of the laser systems have been more than doubled. By this the projected production peaks for the next 5 years can be responded to and agreed delivery times can be kept.

Unfortunately “Growth in times of crisis” is no reality for innovative laser technology investment goods. The inevitably free capacities can rather be directly used for the design and orientation of the company strategy and the next product generations. “We orientate ourselves strictly by the customer demands. This takes time and a close preoccupation with the production flows at the different appliers, among the reference companies like Adidas or Procter & Gamble and many more.

Not only the engineering alone stands as the solution for new production possibilities, but even more the application of the laser beam on different substances and materials. An enhanced application centre in Lüneburg with research and development capacities is a basic requirement for the successful implementation of the technology in the field. The close cooperation with institutes, local universities and customers rounds up the formula for success.

Work-Flow management, the perfect selection of peripheral components, trainings, safety instructions and services form a highly qualified support in all cases – from the application possibilities up to complex software integration at the customer.

It is planned to create new jobs in short and medium terms to ensure the leading market positions of the eurolaser GmbH in many fields of application – as for example the production of laser systems for the processing of acrylics – today and in the future.
