As a further addition to the time-tested range of machines from FEHLMANN, the PICOMAX® 825 VERSA has been newly developed from the ground up for the 5-axis machining of large work pieces. Among the outstanding features of this new FEHLMANN product is the extremely sturdy portal design, the integrated tilting rotary table along the X axis and the optimum operating ergonomics. The VERSA-concept of FEHLMANN enables an user-friendly operation of the stand alone version and is easily adapted for automation. The established Fehlmann HSK-A63 motor spindle with a speed of 14,000 rpm (or optionally 20'000 rpm) and power of 120 Nm (40% ED) comes into operation as main spindle. In the standard version, the tool changer with chain magazine offers room for 44 tools up to Ø130 mm max. An extension magazine with up to 200 pockets is available as an option.
