UP GRIP screwdrivers by Fiam: designed for ergonomics FIAM Utensili Pneumatici Spa
New exclusive range of FIAM screwdrivers with automatic, immediate air shut-off clutch and patented “up side down” pistol grip.
• Ideal for a comfortable access to awkward fastening places otherwise hard to reach using screwdrivers with traditional design
• They avoid working positions ergonomically awkward.
• 5 models for torques up to 12 Nm and speed up to 2000 rpm
• Compressed air supply fed from above: shorter hoses and few knots guarantee a correct supply and consequently maximum tool performances
• Ergonomic grip with no-slip material for a safe and confortable handling
• Light, balanced and handy
• High accuracy: innovative torque control systems ensure a very high torque repeatability, i.e. a very low Mean Shift value also in the presence of variability of the joint hardness level. These systems maintain same torque values for hundreds of thousands of cycles
Use of screwdrivers with “up side down” pistol grip is ideal when tightening points are positioned on vertical surfaces; in this case the wrist position is considered correct when tightening points are same height or lower than the elbow.
When pistol grip screwdrivers are used, it is recommended to use tools that allow wrist straight position in order to avoid incorrect posture/movements and fatigues. A good wrist position improves force transmission reducing operator’s effort.
