The D 40 was the first of the middle-size models, a totally new dumper which derives from the DB 180 concrete mixer, to which it owes its 48 horsepower Yanmar engine and 4-speed transmission.

Its articulated steering, its ability to unload on three sides plus the reversible driving position make it an extremely versatile vehicle, unbeatable in restricted spaces such as narrow city-centre lanes, passageways or tunnels.


To carry materials with the off-road systems of transport with driving reversibility FIORI, it becomes extremely easy, especially in the yards where there is little space for the maneuvers, inside of the mines and in narrow spaces.

The driving reversibility allow to you to proceed in both directions to the same speed of march without having to carry out no maneuver, beyond maintaining all the advantages of a normal dumper.
