Sensors for humidity and temperature by Galltec+Mela with RS485 interface and Modbus-RTU protocol Galltec Mess- und Regeltechnik
The communication method used is RS485 standard with the half-duplex mode of operation. To provide power supply and allow data transfer over a length of 500 m, you only need a cable with 4 individual conductors. By implementing the Modbus RTU protocol stack, the I Series humidity/temperature transmitters are bus-compatible. The sensors provide precise measured values and are equipped for self-diagnosis which signals the occurrence of faults by emitting alarm values.
