New InnovOx TOC Analyzer Firmware Enhances Functionality and Ease of Use GE Analytical Instruments
GE Analytical Instruments has released new firmware for the Sievers InnovOx Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzers that gives users additional ease of use and functionality.
GE designed the InnovOx to provide industry-leading sample handling robustness and instrument uptime for process, environmental, and wastewater TOC analysis. Available in both laboratory and on-line models, the InnovOx uses an innovative Supercritical Water Oxidation technique that offers enhanced reliability, greater ease of use, and lower maintenance than typical combustion or UV persulfate TOC analyzers. Key features of the new 3.0 firmware include:
Intuitive on-board touch screen firmware for faster, simpler navigation
User management control for enhanced security
Conversion factors that let users apply a mathematical formula to the TOC result and change the reporting units to a customized alpha-numeric label
A Repeat Criteria option that improves batch speed by applying relative standard deviation (RSD) acceptance criteria to a sample's mean result
A Web-based autosampler interface that lets you change or add vials during a run
Expanded calibration options improving performance in TOC, IC, and TC modes
The ability to print summary and/or extended sample reports
