VALENCIA, CA -- H2scan Corporation,in conjunction with Westech Industrial Ltd.of Canada,announces their participation in The Global Petroleum Show in Calgary, Canada, June 10-12,'08. Situated in booth # 1885, H2Scan will be giving a live demonstration of their HY-OPTIMA™ 700 hydrogen-specific,real-time, in-line process monitor.

Using a hydrogen-specific sensing element & its patented chip-on-flex technology developed by H2scan, the HY-OPTIMA is the only solid-state sensor technology that accurately measures hydrogen concentrations from 0 to 100% H2 on a volume basis in multiple gas backgrounds -- nitrogen, oxygen,& inert gases. The system operates in process gas temperatures of -20°C to +100°C & in 95% RH environments & handles flow rates of 0.1 to 50slpm & pressures up to 100 psi gauge. An onboard temperature sensor manufacturers maintains the sensor at a constant temperature to maximize stability. The system offers interface flexibility including 0-5Volt,4-20mA outputs with optional ASCII, RS-232 & RS-422 serial buses.H2Scan also offers the HY-OPTIMA 1700 series which is both ATEX & cLC "Intrinsically Safe" Certified.

Prabhu Soundarrajan, Chief Scientist of H2scan,will be presenting a paper on "In-line Hydrogen-Specific Sensors for Operations & Cost Reduction Measures in the Petroleum Industry" on Wed, June 11th during the afternoon Operating & Capital Cost Optimization Session.
