H2scan Receives Multi-Analyzer Order from British Petroleum H2scan
Integrated with state-of-the art modular Intraflow NeSSITM sample substrates provided to H2scan by Parker Hannifin (NYSE: PH), H2scan analyzers will provide real-time measurement without the need of valve switching, frequent calibrations and is designed to save considerable retail space in BP’s analyzer shelters. H2scan’s success with BP provides a good example of widespread acceptance of H2scan’s miniaturized and advanced analyzer technologies in oil refineries.
BP’s Analyzer Engineer, Ryan Holgate stated, “H2scan participated in a competitive bidding process with gas chromatographs over the past year and was selected based on a series of factors including performance, cost and maintainability.” The sample system design was finalized between H2scan, BP contractor CH2M Hill, Parker Hannifin and Gasalarm Systems, a Texas-based integrator contracted by H2scan.
“H2scan’s miniaturized process analyzers are an excellent fit for our modular Intraflow NeSSITM platforms. We expect to extend our collaboration to several analyzer projects in the future,” stated Steve Doe, Parker Hannifin’s Analytical Market Manager.
H2scan’s President & CEO, Dennis Reid said, “Being awarded this contract from BP and being able to utilize the experience and capability of companies like Parker Hannifin and CH2M Hill is extremely rewarding. The process has been seamless and we are on schedule to deliver the full multi-analyzer and control system on-time. We are thrilled to be working with BP and are confident the partnership with our two companies will continue to expand the reach of our analyzers.”
