HAAG + ZEISSLER Maschinenelemente GmbH has introduced into the market the new Rotary unions for air and vacuum which can be used when no free shaft end is availlable. The medium is not transfered through the shaft because the stationary as well as the rotating ports are integrated in the joint. The free shaftend can be used for other purposes like motors or other rotating joints for further medias f.e. water or oil. The Rotary Unions are developed in a modular design which allows easy maintenance of the sealings. Applications for this kind of rotating joints for medias are found in clamping and winding devices or professional turntables. The maximum speed is 200 rpm. Rotor, bearings supplier and stationary housings are made in high precise quality and by usage of special steels and bronce. The joints can be offered for shafts in the range between 20 and 90 mm.
