The HAC-Smart series is the latest release of HAC radio industrial modems. Based on standard design of wireless module, a serial port industrial converter has been added to make the modem more flexible to adopt different connectivity. This modem series comes with a black aluminum enclosure. The mounting legs and state professional indicators on the enclosure make the modem more convenient to be used. The new design can have multiple interface options, such as RS232, RS485 and USB. User can reconfigure the modem by selecting and setting the parameters. Since the serial port converter greatly improved the flexibility of the modem, almost all the modules developed by HAC can be embedded in to the modem.
