In this spirit, we now propose a new range of “eCO2Gen” refrigeration units operating in cascade either with a direct expansion chill unit or an ice-water production unit used to further confine the HFC in the machine room.
These refrigeration units are available with 3 or 4 compressors, with power ranges from 18 to 80 kW and are specifically intended for large or medium scale supermarkets. The “eCO2Gen” range is designed with a common chassis enabling grouping and interconnection of the various CO2 compression and condensation sub-assemblies as well as the liquid accumulators.
These various sub-assemblies comprise all elements associated with this type of technology and required for correct operation of an installation, including:
• A liquid-gas suction heat-exchanger unit combined with a suction line accumulator.
• Thermal insulation of all pipes and components with the exception of the delivery pipe
• An autonomous safety unit used to maintain the CO2 pressure in case of a power cut or stoppage of the chill unit.

Our service package also includes the supply of all components required for a supermarket installation such as:
• A chill unit (type MOPSH direct expansion or with a glycol water heat-exchanger) selected according to the refrigeration unit
• An Eurovent certified air condenser unit
• A unit cooler assembly and, in particular, our low temperature range specifically dimensioned for CO2 applications.
• An electrical switching enclosure comprising all power circuit and control elements indicated above and in particular the compression unit control system taking into account the specificity of a cascade CO2 installation.
