Hengstler’s new absolute encoder gets going when the going gets tough.
ACURO-XR: Absolutely robust Absolute encoder
Singleturn 12 bit, CANopen, BiSS, SSI, 0...10 V, 4...20 mA
High mechanical stresses, temperature fluctuations, contaminations, aggressive atmospheres or liquids can make things rough for professional encoders and more often than not, will lead to failures.
If you want to avoid this, the youngest member of our Acuro family will be the right choice for you: this newly designed Acuro-XR is capable of withstanding highest acceleration rates, mechanical stresses, extreme temperature fluctuations, and even underwater operating conditions.
Multi-stage professional seals keep ACURO-XR dry - even when completely immersed in water or treated with a high-pressure water blaster. In addition, its sensor electronics is immersion-painted and absolutely non-susceptible to humidity. The shaft inlet is provided with multiple seals.
The magnetic detection unit is resistant to thawing, which may occur during fast changes in temperature. Maximum axial and radial loads of 300 N and a long bearing specifications life round off the many benefits of ACURO-XR and place it at the top of the list of extremely robust encoders.
Hengstler proudly presents this compact power pack at the SPS - IPC - Drives Exhibition in Nuremberg from 27 – 29 November 2007
