Triathler performs liquid scintillation counting, gamma counting, and luminescence counting, using various vial types and sizes. Due to sensitivity and small size of Triathler, it is equally at home in the lab or at the point of sample collection.
LSC mode supports applications like wipe testing for surface alpha/beta contaminations, gross alpha activity from water, Rn-222, and uranium (e.g. U-238 & U-234) from water.
Luminescence mode support aplications such as toxicity testing of environmental samples, and biomass monitoring (e.g. hygiene control).
Gamma counting mode is used widely e.g. for radioimmunoassays (RIA).
