HONEYWELL INTRODUCES CSCA-A SERIES OPEN LOOP CURRENT SENSORS

Low Power Consumption and Competitive Cost for
a Wide Variety of Applications
Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today launched the CSCA-A Series of low-cost, open-loop current sensors suitable for a wide variety of motor, uninterruptible power supply and welding control applications.
The CSCA-A sensors measure ac, dc and impulse currents and feature a high level of electrical isolation between primary and secondary circuits for power systems up to 849 V peak. The sensors offer compact size, large primary aperture and low power consumption with a competitive cost/performance ratio suitable for applications where cost is a key consideration.
Potential applications include current feedback control systems, robotics, UPS and telecommunication power supplies, ground fault detectors, automotive battery management systems, welding power supplies, variable speed drives and wattmeters.
