Huntingdon Fusion Techniques Ltd (HFT), international supplier of welding ancillaries, has recorded significant improvements in both turnover and profits in 2008/09. The company manufactures specialised products for the pipe welding sectors and this has helped to drive global sales upwards for several years. Industries involved in fabrication of plant for liquid natural gas and petrochemical processing have been able to take advantage of the savings in time and consumables that accrue from the use of HFT instruments and equipment.

Commenting on the annual results Chairman Ron Sewell said, ‘We are delighted to be able to report a 10% increase in sales and profits despite the world recession. The continued progress reflects the high esteem in which our international customer base holds us as a supplier of specialised products’.
