Digital pyrometer for temperature measurement of glass surfaces

The IN 140/5 from IMPAC is a digital pyrometer for non-contact temperature measurement of glass and quartz glass surfaces with temperature ranges between 250 and 2500°C. Different focusable optics – each one adjustable within its limits to the correct measuring distance – allow the optimal match of the pyrometer to the application. This ensures the smallest possible spot size (min. 1 mm) without changing the position of the pyrometer.

For exact alignment to the measuring object the pyrometer is equipped with a thru-lens view finder or a laser targeting light. The temperature and the pyrometer parameters can be read off from the built-in LCD display. A small keyboard allows the setting of the parameters directly in the instrument. Additionally the IN 140/5 can be connected to a PC via serial interface RS232 or RS485 (switchable). The standard analysing and parameterising software InfraWin is included in scope of delivery.
A diagnostics function allows to check the pyrometer and the wiring.

Next to the standard version two special versions of the IN 140/5 are available. The IN 140/5 L is equipped with a optics with a better field of view. It features spot sizes from 0.9 mm.

The high speed version IN 140/5-H has a shorter response time of only 10 ms (the standard version features 40 ms). It optimally suits for the measurement of fast processes.
