Bu-tylene Isoltema spa

Bu-tylene is Isoltema's line of butyl sealants, available in the form of sealing tapes, waterproofing membranes and drums for various industrial applications. The latest product developed by Isoltema, Bu-tylene is the result of advanced research in our laboratories about waterproofing. Bu-tylene products are the result of over twenty years of know-how acquired in the manufacture of bituminous selfadhesive waterproofing products and sealants.

Ideal for sealing, waterproofing and protecting most surfaces in a variety of different fields, these products adhere perfectly to any surface and materials - plastic, glass, wood, aluminium and steel. The Bu-tylene line consists of compounds for industrial use, in a broad range of viscosities, colours and compatibilities, available in drums and usable with the most common industrial batching machines.

Also part of the Bu-tylene line are bi-adhesive sealing tapes available in rolls of different lengths and widths and sealing tapes self-protected with metal or synthetic films that are very strong and long-lasting.

Reliability
The butyl rubber provides excellent performances in extreme climatic conditions: high adhesion at low temperatures, excellent stability at high temperatures.
Strength
Butyl mastics are, by their very nature, resistant to acids, bases and a broad range of solvents. They also resist UV rays and, if protected by metal sheets, represent a resistant and final solution. They also have a very high shape stability at high temperatures and great adhesive strength.
Versatility
Easy to use with any industrial products and processes in general, including automotive industry, curtain walls, etc.
Ease of use
Bu-tylene products are easy to use, even by semi-skilled personnel. They can be used anywhere, in a broad range of temperatures, with or without primer.
