The novel microscope stage of ITK, suitable for all reflected and transmitted light applications in microscopy, accented by the compat-building, integrated controller and absolute measurement system, through which one knows the precise position at any time. The ITK linear motor allows a very fast and precise positioning down to the nm range. On wear parts as bearings, spindles and limit switches were deliberately omitted, so that system stability, availability and lifetime of the stage could be optimized.
