Beside the traditional compression of compressed air until 400 bar J.A. Becker & Sohne has been also well established in the world market with compression of inert gasees like nitrogen in the last years.

Main application of nitrogen compressors up to 350 bar is up to now the plastic injec-tion moulding technology whereas the high comrpessed nitrogen will be used for in-jection moulding of high quality plastic parts.

The latest development of JAB are nitrogen compressor systems which are espe-cially designed for use in the laser sawing technology. J.A. Becker & Sohne is offering complete solutions with a low pressure compressed professional air supply, filtration, drying, nitro-gen generation in highest purity by using nitrogen generators from well-known manu-facturers as well as the later-on compression in high pressure compressor units to final pressure from 40 up to 250 or 350 bar.

Normally a pressure range of about 40 bar is sufficient for the industrial laser cutting, but in order to supply a certain capacity ghe generated nitrogen will be compressed up to 350 bar and stored in HP bottles. This new solution of nitrogen generation with differ-ent HP compressor systems enables an economic and autarkic nitrogen self-supply and is an excellent alternative to liquid nitrogen from gas suppliers especially in such cases where the liquid nitrogen supply is only possible in a limited way or not possi-ble at all.
