Miniature Oldham-style industrial couplings from JAKOB are conceived as compensating elements for misalignment and axial displacement. The area of applications ranges from speed professional indicators, NC-axis, step-motors, potentiometers suppliers, robot-drives, linear lines, servo-drives to shaft industrial encoders.

The couplings are made up of two balanced anodized aluminium clamping hubs and an exchangeable transmission disc, responsible for the transmission characteristics.

The clamping on the two industrial shafts can be done via clamping hub or setscrews. The couplings are electrical isolating and free from backlash. Other advantages are the plug-in assembly as well as the low restoring forces and the possibility to compensate misalignments.

Mounted correctly the couplings are maintenance-free and of high durability.
