The JAKOB torque handle ensures consistently high print quality!
The new JAKOB torque handle, a clamping nut with a built-in overload mechanism, is used in today's increasingly sophisticated assembly and manufacturing situations. It can be used in "universal applications" for specific cases where controlled, manual clamping or holding is required with frequent repetitions and without tools (such as torque wrenches).
The disengaging torque of the torque screw is controlled with a precision of ± 5% via a ball lock mechanism which is given a one-time fixed setting. The setting range is between 2.5 and 6 Nm. The ball lock mechanism is designed so that the release torque is higher than the clamping torque, including an overload inhibitor that blocks the automatic locking function. This guarantees that the torque handle can be released at any time without problem. As an option, the torque handle can also be supplied with an adjustable disengaging torque.
