Jet Edge, Inc. will demonstrate its latest waterjet cutting technologies at the FABTECH International and AWS Welding Show, Nov. 11-14 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

During this global manufacturing event, Jet Edge will showcase its versatile High Rail Gantry precision waterjet system, its iP60-50 ultra-high pressure intensifier pumping and its new self-feeding compressed air drill. Look for Jet Edge in booth #11086.

Capable of producing complex parts out of virtually any material, the Jet Edge High Rail Gantry features a stable overhead design that allows full access to the work envelope and raises critical components out of the process environment. Jet Edge utilizes high-volume, low-pressure air around the ballscrews and linear motion professional guides and bearings suppliers, which increases durability by preventing contamination from entering these areas. The High Rail Gantry has a repeatability of 0.002 inch over the entire work envelope. It is available in 2-foot (0.6m) increments from 4-feet by 4-feet (1.2X1.2m) to 24-feet by 14-feet. (7.3x4.3m) Custom sizes are available, and the system can easily be expanded in place as a business grows.
The High Rail Gantry is powered by Jet Edge’s leading line of intensifier pumps, which range from 30 to 200 horsepower and are rated for 60,000 psi (4,100 bar).
