The Agency Meeting 2007 for the industrial market segment took place at the Steigenberger Hotel in Kiel between 10 – 12 September. This segment represents Sauer’s greatest challenge as well as being the market which has the greatest growth potential. More than 50 participants from over 30 nations found their way to Kiel – from Australia to Brazil and Syria to Norway.
We started off proceedings, on the day of arrival, with a “Welcome Dinner” to give new and old Sauer representatives the opportunity to get to know each other. An evening that proved to be surprising in several ways. The representatives from Bangladesh were able to talk to their colleagues from Serbia and Kosovo in Serbo-Croatian.
After what turned out to be a very short night for some of our guests, the Managing Director, Harald Schulz started the main event with a welcoming address at 8.00 a.m. For some of our guests, the first highlight of the morning was the tour of Sauer’s factory. There were lots of new products on display; among others the WP6000 and the WP4325 ComBooster with integrated dyrer as well as a booster version.
New insights and individual professional workshops
The main aim of the meeting was to appreciate the different levels of knowledge of the different delegates and to increase this know-how as far as possible over the course of the two days. This is the reason why we divided the participants into different groups for the workshops. New representatives were given an introduction to the fundamentals of compressers, method of function and after sales. The more advanced could solidify their knowledge in concrete case studies…
