For semi-automatic mitre cuts, the KASTOcut GE (with manual material clamping) and the KASTOcut GU (with hydraulic material clamping) offer a wide range of adjustments for mitre cuts with positive cutting angles up to 60°. Equipped with the KASTO Universal Hydraulics UH, the KASTOcut GU is able to adapt to each cutting requirement, infinitely variable adjustment between constant feed rate and constant cutting force. Constant cutting force is recommended for cutting profiles and tubes since different material dimensions habe to be cut. With this hydraulic system, it is not necessary to change the sawblade when changing from solids to profiles. Infinitely mitre cutting adjustment from 0° up to 60°. Principle of the ideal pivot point, it means that the pivot point is at the intersection point of the saw blade and material support edge, therefore no necessity of length correction when changing the mitre cutting angle.
