With the new piezoelectric industrial pressure sensor Type 6045A..., Kistler offers an M8 high-temperature pressure sensor with very high sensitivity and excellent thermodynamic characteristics. Featuring a shoulder industrial seal the Type 6045A… can be installed in a M8x0,75 bore and is interchangeable with the cooled sensor Type 6041A… .

Using the new PiezoStar® industrial crystal a high sensitivity of –45 pC/bar is possible and further design features ensure low thermal shock and reduced sensitivity shift.

The Type 6045A... is an excellent all-rounder and can be used for both thermodynamic investigation and knock measurement. As an uncooled design it is ideally suited for onboard use in over-the-road engine tuning.
