Koheras Will Exclusively Market Aculight’s “ArgosTM” OPO Product in Europe

Argos is a single-frequency, continuous-wave (cw), multi-watt, tunable optical parametric oscillator (OPO).

The Argos product offers enabling capability for many high-resolution spectroscopy applications, including photoacoustic and cavity-ringdown spectroscopy, atom trapping, chemical sensing and medical applications. Argos provides customers with the highest power and broadest mode-hop-free tuning range of any OPO on the market.

Argos is a rugged, fiber-pumped, singly resonant OPO that provides continuous tuning from 1.4 to 2 microns and from 2.3 to 3.9 microns using three interchangeable, pre-aligned, wavelength industrial converter modules. Koheras’ single-frequency fiber lasers are an integral part of the system.

With the official European launch of the Argos OPO in March, Koheras and Aculight will jointly present a demo system at the DPG Spring Meeting in Darmstadt (March 11-13, level E0, booth 003) and LOB, Laser Optik Berlin (March 17-19, hall 18, booth 404).
