Hightech for small diameters KOMET GROUP
The integration of the coolant supply makes the new Fullmax reamers from DIHART® the ideal solution for high-performance reaming of through holes in steel and nodular cast iron.
The KOMET GROUP offers DIHART® solid carbide reamers and DST reamers for reaming small diameters. The multiple blade reamers in a monoblock design round off the product portfolio of the Reamax® product range. The KOMET GROUP thereby offers a comprehensive solid carbide reaming programme for high-performance machining in diameters ranging from 1.4 to 40 mm. New additions are the solid DST reamers in a left fluted design, which feature an internal coolant supply that is radially delivered to the individual cutting edges. DST (cermet) is a high-performance cutting material that is ideal for high speed reaming and is particularly suitable for machining unalloyed and low-alloyed steels up to 1200 N/mm2 tensile strength, as well as for reaming nodular cast iron. The new Fullmax reamers with coolant supply are available in diameters ranging from 3.9 to 12.7, as well as in a standard series of 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm.
