With the magnet coupling MINEX®-S KTR Kupplungstechnik GmbH offers a drive concept which is tailor-made for dosing pumps used for foaming processes of polyurethane.
Pumping the components polyol and isocyanate the product spaces each have to be fully incapsulated to ensure the requested process safety in the long run. How-ever, the usual shaft seal rings of the dosing pumps used may cause unwelcome leak-ages in long term. The media are subject to the risk of crystallizing inside the pumping, in this way causing expensive standstill periods and breakdowns in produc-tion. In contrast to that MINEX®-S provides for a reliable hermetic sealing of the pumps assuring a low-maintenance and troublefree operation. In addition they contribute significantly to the protection of people and the environment.
