Real-time and 100 times faster - The Sendix absolute encoders are now equipped with a BISS-C interface KÜBLER

The implementation of the BISS-S interface for the Sendix absolute encoders allows Kübler to reach a new level in data transfer. The open BISS-C (bidirectional/serial/synchronous) interface is based on a protocol for achieving a real-time interface for a purely digital, serial and secured communication between a controller and sensors and/or actuators. The BiSS protocol has been designed for industrial applications requiring high transmission speeds, safety (CRC), flexibility and minimised installation work.
The advantages are enormous and apply to all branches, such as technology, quality, costs or logistics. The BISS-C interface is a real-time solution for position and speed that is typically 100 times faster than standard field bus systems. In addition, a preset value can be preset for the encoder via Software (PLC) or via a set button. The interface is fully digital, thus requiring fewer conductors for wiring, and shielding is easier. The bidirectional interface allows an automatic start-up. Being an Open Source Interface, everybody can use the technical advantages of BiSS-C without restriction. About the costs: BiSS-C can be implemented without hardware modifications in usual standard controls.

Another point plays a decisive role among all these advantages: service. Kübler can help you also in this respect, since his own experts will put their know-how at your disposal for the implementation.
