LAM PLAN M.M. 8700 FLAT LAPPING POLISHING MACHINE 700 mm DIAMETER
The LAM PLAN lapping machines are developed to exploit the qualities of the LAM PLAN M.M system to the full and to cope with its specific constraints. They are also perfectly adapted for conventional abrasives.

The M.M. 8700 machine provides you with a reliable and productive lapping technique, for small and medium sized parts. The M.M. 8700 is modular and can handle maintenance work and series production, in particular with its S version (with pneumatic cylinders).
For a cost and required space identical to the 24” model (610 mm), you have a 700 mm diameter plate. Its superior capacity makes it possible to increase yields and the level of flatness.

GENERAL TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Mechanically welded frame made of stainless steel sized accordingly, designed to bear up to the constraints of the pneumatic pressure system.
Reinforced, stainless steel table, with adjustable height.
Transmission by a powerful, high torque, 2,2 kW gear motor unit, self-lubricated, requiring no maintenance, progressive start-up and shutdown.
Full plate support made of cast iron, Ø 560 mm thickness 45 mm.
3 adjustable arms made of stainless steel with high density polyurethane rollers and waterproof bearings to draw the conditioning rings.

from the M.M. 8700 E basic model to the 8700 S with full options.

CHARACTERISTICS SPECIFIC TO MODEL M.M. 8700 S
Pneumatic pressure system including a stainless steel support beam with 3 double-acting jacks (0 to 3 bars/ / 700N) that can be operated individually by a double security control and 3 Ø 275 mm pressure disks made of stainless steel and attached to ball pivots.
SPS (Simplified Programming System) central control unit to control the machine functions.
LAM PLAN electronic distribution system, managed by SPS, for liquid diamond and fluid with inbuilt mechanical stirring unit and a low pressure double nozzle spray.
Electronic control of the rotation speed managed by the SPS central unit.
Electronic multi-range timer managed by the SPS central unit.
Machine commands and controls grouped together in the system console on the articulated arm.
