Microabrasive Interior Brushes

Microabrasive Interior Brushes

When using Lessmann microabrasive interior brushes, burrs and transition sections in complex work pieces can be reached effortless and effectively.
Interior brushes with abrasive filament are very suitable for deburring bores, cross bores, o-ring recesses and for polishing and cleaning nozzles or small bores. Typical working parts which are treated with the brushes are for example injection pumps, hydraulic control valves, break fluid systems, plastic spraying nozzles or other precision parts with narrow bore sections.

Upon request of the customer interior brushes are produced either with a milled or grinded surface. Additionally the brushes can be endued with specific shapes and they can be produced with a stepped cut. Hence stepped bore diameters can be treated in only one production step.
With a shaft extension also very deep drill depths are possible to reach.
The standard length of the brushes is 125 mm, the brush diameter is 3.2 mm to 32 mm with a filling length of 65 mm. Deviant measurements are available on demand.

Abrasive filaments are available with aluminium oxide or silicon carbide in variable grit sizes. The user can choose a grit of K 60 to K 600 depending on the application.
New in the Lessmann product range are interior brushes with diamond coated steel wires. The ends of the wires of those brushes are accumulated with diamond particles during a galvanic process. As a result the brushes are very aggressive and are suitable for the treatment of extremely hard materials. A typical application for those diamond impregnated brushes is the defined rounding of bore crossings in hydraulic pipes of pumps or crankcases.
