Libratherm offers Micro-controller based Temperature controller suppliers model PID-966 (version 1.1) for PROFESSIONAL OVEN Industries and is suitable for both OEM and the end user. All the required variable aspects such as size of the oven, KW of the oven, operating temperature of the oven etc...are taken into the design consideration. The controller can accept J or K type manufacturer of thermocouple or Pt-100 as the input and displays the sensed temperature within the accuracy of +/- 0.1%. The control outputs are available to operate single or three phase Solid state relays suppliers, Power contactor and Thyristor power pack. All the outputs are available simultaneously. The control action is user selectable for either ON/OFF control or PID control. One ramp and one soak facility allows gradual rise in the temperature with the desired rate of heating and the soaking time. Event relays are provided to mark the start of the soaking time, end of the soaking time and the high alarm. The controller works on 230VAC supply voltage and is available in 96 x 96 x 120 mm ABS plastic housing.

The advantage of using this controller is to standardize on single controller to use any of the three type of industrial standard sensor, control through SSR, contactor or thyristor and with facility of gradual rate of heating to get the stable control at the set point, without allowing extra overshoot in the temperature.
