Lika Electronic, leading manufacturer of optical encoders and solutions for the automation industry in Europe, celebrates its 25th anniversary of activity.
Founded in Schio (VI) in 1982 with a small team and the production of absolute encoders for the German market, Lika is today a company with a staff of 60 people and a turnover of 8 millions Euro. Currently the production covers incremental and absolute professional encoders (optical and magnetic), magnetic measurement systems, displays and positioning units.
The export trend allows Lika to sell its products all over the world.

The logo representing our 25th anniversary says “25 years young”, to indicate a team that blends experience with innovation and dynamism.

As a team achieving an important goal, Lika wants to be rewarded and is going to celebrate its success with an event that will last throughout 2007:
- 21st June: Lika held a technical conference on an important worldwide space project developed with CISAS of Padova (Interdepartmental Centre of Space Studies and Activities);
- 5th August: tennis match attended by Filippo Volandri, the best Italian tennis player and semifinalist at the Italian Open games in 2007;
- 16th September: Lika’s Open House meant as a chance to meet in a partying atmosphere
- November: technical conference on space projects
