Thanks to these prestigious new premises located in Lier (Belgium), the 80 employees who work for the company now enjoy a more spacious and functional environment. A new steel building was an essential element in the development of the company Varo, one of the Europe's leading companies in design, production and worldwide distribution of handtools, powertools and garden equipment.

Astron Builder Noesen Industriebouw’s well thought-out proposal to be supplied on a turnkey basis, plus the very rapid erection of Astron building system met the Belgium client’s requirements. Noesen Industriebouw’s reckon for service and high-quality products at the right price, has already built two steel professional buildings for the same client as well as the architect won the tender "design and build" in competition with international companies.

This building consists of a 3,500m² office building and a 22,000m² archive building with a 13,6m height. The warehouse was designed to accommodate the 12m height storage rack for the storage of 6 pallets one above the other. Indeed order picking and logistics are centralised mainly in Lier and some 20,000 pallets are kept permanently in stock to provide the required flexibility and guarantees continuous availability and speedy deliveries to clients in Belgium and abroad. Every day the 18 docks receive dozens of industrial containers filled with DIY tools, garden equipment, etc ... To be unloaded, stored and then distributed in Europe. An impressive ballet of forklifts!
