LMI Technologies recently complete a successful introduction of their new FireSync™ toolkit at Vision 2007 in Stuttgart, Germany. LMI was extremely pleased with the great response from attendees, and their booth was packed with engineers eager to learn how to design and build sensors for specific applications.
Robert van der Beek from SEF Vision expressed, “vision in Stuttgart was very successful for LMI. You must be very busy now taking care of leads.”
During the show attendees were able to learn first hand how the FireSync platform worked, but more importantly visitors to the LMI booth became more familiar with the benefits of scaleable networking, microsecond synchronization, and impressive image stitching for creating rapid time to market products.
In addition to the new platform, attendees examined LMI’s HexSight color pattern matching technology. Using an application demo visitors were able to see how HexSight professional software could be combined with various industrial cameras, controllers, and lights to help vision machine engineers build sophisticated vision solutions for their application.
Since their return from the Vision 2007, LMI is now working with some of their OEM accounts to complete Beta testing of the FireSync platform in preparation for the full release of components in the first quarter of 2008. If you are interested in testing any FireSync components, please contact Mr. Cor Maas, President of FireSync and HexSight product development at LMI.
