Adept Technology Inc of Livermore, California, USA, a provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, has signed a licensing agreement with LMI Technologies Inc, a developer of vision sensor technology, based in Canada.
Under the terms of the agreement, Adept will provide LMI with a license for its HexSight professional software and trademark. This will allow LMI to market and support HexSight products on a worldwide basis in addition to developing new ones. Adept will gain access to LMI's enhanced technology, allowing the company to maintain its vision guidance products.
