Vlotho – LOHMEIER has extended its range of climate control components for control cabinets and enclosures housing electronics, adding the new roof-mounted DFL-186X series of filter fans. At a low installation depth, the units ensure high air flow rates. They are available with operating voltages of 120 and 230 V AC, providing an air output of 300 or 575 m³/h. The low-noise units en-sure constant air circulation, thus providing a high degree of operational safety. They are IP43-protected and highly UV resistant. The roof exit filter provides passive ventilation.

Easy installation and maintenance: Roof-mounted filter fans

The filter fans, which are suitable for a -45...+70 °C temperature range, are especially easy to maintain: they can be quickly installed, and their cover hood, which features a push-to-open latch, can be opened without tools in order to exchange the filter mat. The mat can be exchanged from the outside within few seconds, which means that users no longer need to empty the installation space within the enclosure. VDE and UL certifications for the units are in prepa-ration. The new roof filter fans will be available from September 2009.
