The order books at LOOS are full to bursting and production is running at full speed. There is a huge need for staff, especially workers in the classic industrial professions such as splicers, metal workers and electricians. LOOS does have its own training workshop and has been investing for decades in the training of young school-leavers, but the demand for high-quality "Made by LOOS" professional boiler systems is so high that the number of trainees is barely sufficient at the moment. All the young system mechanics who have just finished their training were taken over into permanent employment immediately. At the moment, there is no likelihood of acquiring skilled workers from the external labour market – it is as if this has been swept clean of the professions needed.
As part of his visits to the various administrative districts in the region, Bavarian Prime Minister Dr Günther Beckstein also stopped over at LOOS INTERNATIONAL.
