Marechal Electric launches the single pole power interconnector SPeX with "e" protection mode for explosive atmospheres. The SPeX complies with ATEX Directive 94/9/EC and can be used in zones 1 and 2 (gas) and zones 21 and 22 (dust).
Automatically IP65/IP66 watertight and dusttight as soon as the plug is inserted, it has an electromechanical interlocking device driven by a microswitch (phases are simultaneously opened and closed) to guarantee operators safety and to avoid unbalanced electrical operation.
The glass fibre reinforced polyester casing provides an excellent resistance to shocks (IK08), to UV and chemical agent.

Ideally suited for mobile professional generators, professional drilling equipments, to connect ships at port, …the SPeX can connect equipments from 1000 V a.c. / 1500 V d.c. up to 6800 A and more by mounting parallel connectors specification.

The SPeX is mechanically keyed and color coded to differentiate between phases.
