The decontactor is a three-in-one electrical device which uses spring-loaded, silver-nickel butt contacts to ensure excellent conductivity and life-long durability in both clean and dirty environments. It’s a plug & socket, it’s a switch and it’s an isolator all in one.

Its integral switching device enables you to disconnect electrical equipment at the professional press of a button – in complete safety right up to 250A. The plug release button ejects the plug to a parking position at which point the power is already cut and the equipment isolated. Then simply twist and remove the plug. For increased security both industrial plug and socket can be locked off.

A major safety feature is that it is impossible to remove the decontactor plug live from the socket.
